Purpose of website

The aim of this Art website is to create the awareness of disadvantaged communities in Africa. In particular the nomadic hunter gatherer people the African San (also known as Bushman), who were one of the first occupants in Africa and who continue to live in extreme poverty. San Arts and Crafts will be marketed and distributed together with my art. San Art and Crafts in most cases are the only means of income for isolated San communities in Africa.

Art - ME - Africa (Martin Erasmus) is a celebration of Art and motivated by my Love for Art.

What is Art?

As a relative new entrant to the "Artists world" and as a scholar with teachers and masters of Art, as well as my association with various Artists and like minded people, I have realised that all art, for me, is a celebration of creation and it is motivated by the beauty of and my love for nature. "Good Art" is the celebration of a good mind at work and "Great Art" is the celebration of a great mind at work.
